All the more now, I look forward to seeing Social Network.
We share some favorites of the 2000s in Children of Men and There Will Be Blood.
One respectful recommendation: as it pertains to any art, use the term “masterpiece” like a rare spice. Even the greatest masters have few of them.

Just back from a week at Sundance and needless to say thought of you (and your mom!) Think we could do a mother/son adventure next year. Movies from sunup until midnight. In beautiful Park City. What could be finer?

Forgot to say how much we all LOVE your blog. It’s clever and inspired and fun. Not to mention a great pleasure to read good writing! Cooper who is finishing up his last 6 months in the Peace Corps in Cambodia manages to see more movies than we do (pirated of course) and has just posted his top ten for the year on his blog (cooperincambodia.wordpress.com)so check it out!
Waiting anxiously for the Sundance picks and Oscar night. Hope you’ll do the live feed again!
